Our Theme: Salvation: Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38 NLT). Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned (Mark 16:16 NLT)
GET ONBOARD WITH JESUS is our theme for Vacation Bible School. Children will learn about Jesus, the Savior of the World. We will look at Peter's sermon on Pentecost and what Jesus said about salvation. Discussion will involve making a decision for Jesus and baptism.
Bible Story: The Day of Pentecost: 3000 got on board! Acts 2:1-41; And Philip and the Official from Ethiopia, Acts 8:26-40. Anyone can come to Jesus!
Looking at these Bible stories, we will learn that Jesus wants us to believe and accept him as our savior. The Word of God will transform our hearts and lives when we open our hearts to HIm.
