Join Us For Fun, Fellowship, Food, and Bible Study!

ANNOUNCEMENTS - Updated 10-31-2021

CPR Class is scheduled for Saturday November 13th and Saturday, November 20th. Class will begin at 9am until 4pm with an hour lunch break. The church will be providing a boxed lunch from a local restaurant chain. We will be using dummies for compressions only... not breathing because of covid concerns. At the end of this class you will be certified in CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation. If you have any questions at this time please call Loren Lung or Patti Wineberg.

Join us Sunday, November 7th for a special day with Campus Christian Fellowship of App State. Come and meet the new campus minister, John Troutman, as he shares the work of CCF at ASU. He will be with us for the Sunday School hour as well as worship service.

TUESDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP - Our Tuesday Night Fellowship group is having a Thanksgiving Special on November 19th at 6:00pm. We want to invite anyone who would like to join us to bring a covered dish as we give Thanks for what God has done.

THANKSGIVING COMMUNITY SERVICE - Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 7pm. The program will be held at Bald Mountain again this year so there will be plenty of room to social distance. BCCC will be in charge of the program. This will be an opportunity for us to praise and worship the Lord thanking him for all he has done.

We are working to put together door to door envelopes that we will be hanging along Beaver Creek School Road and it's subsidiaries. This package will contain a DVD, A brochure from BCCC, a tract, and some other items. We will be calling on your help to hang them on doors soon. If you would like to help please see Loren Lung or David Grubb.

PRAYER TIME - Please join us for a short prayer time each Sunday Morning at 10:45am in the hallway by the prayer quilt. We will be praying for our services, the ones who attend, and for God's guidance and presence.

"THE MINISTRY OF VISION" - Join us for ministry and leadership training classes each Wednesday Night. THE MINISTRY OF VISION is a great way to further examine the vision for our church and what part you can plan in it. We will be meeting in room 201. Hope to see you there! Starts at 6pm.

TUESDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP: I would like to invite you to join me for a time of fellowship on Tuesday night at 6:00pm. We are now meeting in the fellowship hall.

JOIN US FOR SUNDAY SCHOOL: Join us each Sunday School at 10am for our Sunday School lessons with our four teachers: Ric Kolseth, David Grubb, Tommy Parson, and Mike Grubb. We also have an alternative adult class in room 201 with teacher, Kevin Nichols. We also have Sunday School for children as well as adults. Sunday School opening starts at 10:00am in the sanctuary.

CONNECTION MINISTRY: We are asking all members to pray, keep in contact with each other by phone, email, text messages, or mail. Please take the opportunity to encourage and lift each other up. Please let Loren know if there are any needs of our people so that we can try to help.

TITHES AND OFFERINGS: Your support is always appreciated. Due to Covid risk we have placed the offering plates at the back of the auditorium and on the porch for your giving convenience. If you are not able to contribute you on Sunday, you are encouraged to send your tithes and offerings to Pat Grubb at 789 Northridge Dr., Boone, NC 28607. PHONE TREE: The policy for the phone tree is to activate it for prayer request only upon permission or request of the family and to provide updates as the family provides them. We cannot pass on to you information we do not have or that we have not received permission to share. The administration of the phone tree is through Loren Lung, Ric Kolseth, or Amanda Thompson.

COMMUNION TO THE SHUT-INS: If you would like communion brought to your house please let us know and one of our men when come and serve communion to you along with prayer and a scripture reading.
